To ensure long-lasting enjoyment of your bottle, you should pay attention to the following factors when purchasing:

1. Material quality

There are stainless steel bottles as far as the eye can see. But only a good drinking bottle will really meet your needs and reliably accompany you on your tours. High-quality bottles made from robust ECO stainless steel are not only extremely lightweight and shatterproof, but also food-safe and free from harmful substances.

This allows you to enjoy your drinks without any unpleasant aftertaste and with a clear conscience. The long lifespan also speaks for the models made of high-quality metal.

2. Weight

You can recognise a good stainless steel bottle by its low weight. This is extremely important on your tours, because every gram counts. Our bottles made from robust 304 stainless steel guarantee maximum durability at minimal weight.

• The thermos bottles are slightly heavier at 397 g but are additionally insulated, making them ideal for cold drinks in summer and hot drinks in winter. 

3. Insulation

There are different models of stainless steel water bottles: with and without additional insulation. So-called insulated bottles are also referred to as thermos bottles. They are intended for year-round use.

• In summer, they keep your drink cool for up to 24 hours.
• In winter, an insulated stainless steel bottle keeps your drinks hot for up to 12 hours.

If you always want your drinks at the right temperature, our insulated bottles are just what you need. If weight is more important to you, we recommend our “regular” stainless steel bottles – they are lighter than their double-walled counterparts.

4. Leak-proof

On tour, reliability is irreplaceable – and that also applies to a good stainless steel bottle. That’s why absolute leakproofness is a top priority. Our bottles are equipped with an additional silicone sealing ring and a sustainable bamboo lid. That keeps everything exactly where it should be.

Is a stainless steel bottle suitable for carbonated drinks?

You should not use a stainless steel bottle for carbonated drinks, as the seal cannot withstand the pressure in the long term. Over time, the bottle will lose its leakproofness. 

What is the best way to clean stainless steel bottles?

Our stainless steel bottles are dishwasher-safe.

• You can easily clean them in the dishwasher.
• Alternatively, thanks to the wide opening, you can also simply clean your bottle with a bottle brush under running water.
• or rinse it with hot water.

The bamboo lid should only be cleaned by hand.

Can the bottles be used for hot and cold drinks?

A thermos bottle is double-walled insulated and is suitable for hot and cold drinks. It keeps your drink cool for up to 24 hours and warm for 12 hours, which is ideal for long hikes in summer and winter.

Are stainless steel bottles taste-neutral?

Since we use 100% high-quality ECO stainless steel for our stainless steel water bottles, each bottle is food-safe and therefore absolutely taste-neutral.
