The Beginning
It all started with a store and a passion for the mountains.
ALPIN LOACKER was founded in 1993 as a retail business for mountaineering equipment in Götzis, Vorarlberg. From the start, one thing was paramount: high-quality products for people who love nature.
What began as a local shop has grown into a well-known brand across Europe – with over 200,000 packages shipped annually and customers throughout Europe, the USA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada.

David Wallgram
Management
David Wallgram forms the management of Alpin Loacker together with Felix Loacker – with a focus on further developing our own brand and expanding into new markets.

As the son of founder Isabella Loacker, Felix drove the strategic repositioning in 2017/18: away from brick-and-mortar retail, toward a strong direct-to-consumer brand. With the acquisition of Feelgrounds in 2026, he's writing the next chapter of this success story.
