The beginning
It all started with one store and a passion for the mountains.
ALPIN LOACKER was founded in 1993 as a retail business for mountaineering equipment in Götzis, Vorarlberg. From day one, one thing was at the center: high-quality products for people who love nature.
What started as a local shop has become a well-known brand across Europe – with over 200,000 packages shipped yearly and customers throughout Europe, the USA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada.

As the son of founder Isabella Loacker, Felix spearheaded the strategic repositioning in 2017/18: away from brick-and-mortar retail, toward a strong direct-to-consumer brand. With the acquisition of Feelgrounds in 2026, he's writing the next chapter of this success story.
