Are merino wool hats warm enough for winter?
Yes – merino wool is an excellent insulator. Thin merino hats are suitable down to about -5°C, thicker models also for harsher frost. For extreme cold, a merino hat can be worn as a liner under a thick ski hat.
Can I wash merino gloves?
Yes, at 30°C on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag. Dry flat, do not wring. Avoid heating – it can distort the shape.
