What belongs in the basic kit for a multi-day hike?
Backpack (35–50 L), tent or bivvy bag, sleeping bag (suitable for the season), sleeping mat, trekking poles, merino clothing in layers, waterproof jacket, first aid kit and navigation (map + GPS).
What does ultralight mean in camping?
Ultralight (UL) means a base weight under 4.5 kg – so backpack, tent, sleeping bag and mat combined. This increases range, protects joints and makes multi-day tours more enjoyable. Alpin Loacker products are selected with this goal in mind.
