Are merino wool beanies warm enough for winter?
Yes – merino wool is an excellent insulator. Thin merino beanies are suitable down to about -5°C, thicker models even for more severe frost. For extreme cold, a merino beanie can be worn as a liner under a thick ski beanie.
Can I wash merino gloves?
Yes, at 30°C gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag. Lay flat to dry, do not wring. No direct heat – this will warp the shape.
